Mark Gibbs, officer and member of the firm’s Board of Directors, has extensive experience in commercial and government audit services, as well as merger and acquisition due diligence work.

Mark has served as Chairperson for the Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association’s Finance and Reporting Committee and is a member of their Education Committee. He has been a national reviewer of the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting program since 1990, and has presented seminars on the topic of quality financial reporting. Mark also has authored explanatory articles and interpretations of standards of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and has served as an accounting training instructor for the City of Minneapolis.

Mark is a graduate of the College of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association. He lives in St. Paul, Minn. with his wife Dianne and has three children.
