Sarah Gengenbach is the ESOP industry leader at HLB Tautges Redpath. She specializes in providing accounting and consulting services to employee-owned businesses in a variety of industries such as real estate, manufacturing and construction.
Sarah is the President of the Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter of the ESOP Association Board of Directors, serves on the Leadership and Development Council of the Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA), and is a member of the ESOP Association Finance Committee. She is a frequent speaker regarding financial reporting, regulations, and culture development as it relates to employee-owned companies and helps many companies in an advisory role regarding these topics. HLB Tautges Redpath is 100-percent employee-owned and is a valuable resource for a number of ESOP businesses by applying first-hand knowledge to their accounting needs.
Beyond her accounting expertise, Sarah donates her time and talents to many volunteer organizations. She is the board secretary and an active member of Junior League of Saint Paul, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. She also enjoys volunteering as a counselor at RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) Leadership Camp. The camp gathers high school students from central Minnesota and western Wisconsin to emphasize leadership, citizenship, and personal growth.
Sarah graduated from Minnesota State University, in Moorhead, Minn., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).
