Norm Longsdorf, a partner and member of the firm’s board of directors, works extensively with closely held businesses in the areas of construction, manufacturing, distribution and professional services. He specializes in tax planning, strategic planning and management consulting. Entity structuring, business succession and generational transfers of closely held businesses are areas where Norm has significant experience.
Norm is HLB Tautges Redpath’s international contact partner for HLB International, a worldwide organization of independent professional accounting firms. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and has completed coursework toward a Masters in Business Taxation. Norm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and served as President of Dellwood Hills Golf Club.
In his free time, Norm enjoys playing tennis and golf. He and his family also participate in a triathlon once a year. Norm and his wife Jenny live in Arden Hills and have three children.
