Cathy O'Brien leads the HLB Tautges Redpath a&e/professional services industry, assisting clients such as attorneys, doctors, dentists, architects and engineers. She specializes in financial statement reviews and compilations, year-end close, write-up, payroll and accounting services. Cathy has provided public accounting services since 1986 and earned her MBA in 2005.
Cathy graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration, and received her bookkeeping certification from St. Paul Technical College. She is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC), American Institute of Architects Minnesota (AIA), Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).
Cathy and her husband Mike live in Vadnais Heights, with their four teenage girls - including a set of triplets. She is a water sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time at the family cabin.
